‘Remarkable women of faith’ moved to public gravesite

Father Michael Kesicki, one of the former chaplains for the nuns of the Monastery of the Holy Family, presided at the rite of committal for the reinterment of the nine Carmelites of the Monastery of the Holy Family at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In a moving private ceremony, the nine Carmelite nuns who had lived, prayed and been buried in the cloister of the Monastery of the Holy Family, were reinterred at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Erie, July 12.
