Share the Word Advent/Christmas 2005 Issue

Provides liturgy-based reflections for every day of these seasons. Small Group Booklets for Advent

Mary Abinante, Philip Abinante, Judith Robb Eggerman.

Each booklet contains three sessions for Advent and one for the Christmas season usable for all three lectionary cycles.  Sessions are divided into segments on coming together, sharing experiences. reflecting on the word, choosing a response, uniting in prayer, and continuing on the journey.  Suggestions for faith sharing groups and facilitator notes are included.

 

Fulfilling the Promise explores the progressive scriptural themes of the season.  God with Us reflects on the wonder of the incarnation and the ways in which God has been and continues to be present among us.  Sharing the Joy of Salvation invites participants to enter into the season through some of the significant roles in salvation history, reflecting on how we are called to live them today.
