Operation Rice Bowl offers you and your parish an opportunity to both directly assist and reflect in solidarity with the poor around the word and strengthen the bond of our human family. Operation Rice Bowl is a program that combines our traditional Lenten practices of praying, fasting, learning and giving in a framework for participation in the home, parish, school, religious education or campus ministry program. How does the diocese work to alleviate poverty, bring hope to people in need?
The Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) brings hope to people living in poverty. CCHD is making a difference in the lives of the poor through grass roots organizing and community development.

Are you a mom who could use the support of another mom, a listening ear or helpful advice?
As a part of the Office of Justice & Peace/Respect Life, the Elizabeth Ministry acts as a mother-to-mother peer ministry.
