Dayton University, Ohio
The Institute for Pastoral Initiatives at the University of Dayton offers classes in Scripture, Sacraments, Catholic Beliefs, Church History, Jesus, and other related topics. The classes are designed to support adult faith formation and the catechetical ministry of the Church. Courses run for 5 weeks and are capped at 12 participants in order to create the experience of a small virtual community, not an independent study.

Web resources

Feeding America
Remember Second Harvest?  It has changed its name to Feeding America. You will find much information and many things to do, including taking a hunger quiz. In fairly affluent Bergen County, NJ, we were surprised to find out how many people need to use the Food Banks. The statistics for the rural areas are also shocking.
Visit its Web site at www.feedingamerica.org

Environmental Sites
The Web site, www.catholicsandclimatechange.org , contains the St. Francis Pledge which you and your family might consider.

Please visit  www.greenfaith.org. Green Faith "inspires, educates, and mobilizes people of diverse religious backgrounds for environmental leadership.

Catholics and Social Policy
