We are, geographically, Pennsylvania’s largest diocese, and our parishes stretch from the sparkling shores of Lake Erie through the majestic Allegheny National Forest. I have come to know and love the scenic and historic towns that dot the highways and byways of northwestern Pennsylvania, where it has been my privilege to serve since 1990.

Though our diocese is expansive and includes many people with various gifts and vocations, their faith, generosity and good will unites us. The collaboration of the people, the priests and the religious inspire and refresh me. I continue to give thanks and praise to the Lord for the strong and healthy pulse beat of the Erie Diocese.
