Catholic Services Appeal reminder from the Catholic Foundation
As the Catholic Services Appeal continues, the Catholic Foundation recommends pastors and parish staff consider sending a follow-up letter to those parishioners who have not yet made a pledge to the appeal. Consider sending them a CSA brochure, along with a pledge envelope. Letter template ideas can be found in the parish leadership handbook. Extra brochures and pledge envelopes may be ordered by contacting Julia Cooney at 814-824-1253 or at email@example.com. For assistance in creating a mailing list for this follow-up letter, contact PDS at 1-877-737-4457.
Also, don’t forget to thank your donors! A note or letter of thanks from the pastor is always appreciated. Donors also can be thanked through the bulletin, social media or in a parish newsletter. Additional resources, including many digital options and Facebook post suggestions, can be found at https://www.eriercd.org/Catholic-Services-Appeal-CSA-Materials.html.
