Bishop Persico invites prayers on the feast of the Holy Innocents
As we continue to accompany all victims of sexual abuse and their families, the feast of the Holy Innocents on Dec. 28 is a fitting day for us to pray for them. On behalf of Bishop Lawrence Persico, the Office of Worship offers two prayers from Household Blessings and Prayers published by the USCCB. Pastors are encouraged to make them available in their bulletins or at any events where they might be appropriate. A bulletin announcement including the prayers can be found in the attachments.

Is your parish or school having a Lenten dinner?
It’s never too early to schedule advertising for your Lenten dinners. Faith magazine’s February 2019 edition will publish a listing of all entities providing Lenten meals. Please provide the date(s), time, place and cost for the dinner and, if needed, a phone number for questions. The cost is $45 per listing. This is a great resource for those looking for meatless dinners during Lent.
