Monthly reflection on the liturgy now available
Welcome the new liturgical year with the first issue of “Good Liturgy Matters-Jot” (GLM-Jot). It is attached for your convenience. Each edition of this one-page, easy to read article from the Office of Worship will summarize a liturgical principle or liturgy topic. Its aim is to help parish communities reflect on their weekly liturgies over time. Each Jot considers a component of liturgy and suggests best practices. This first issue is on hospitality. Look for “GLM-Jot” once a month. Consider including it in your bulletin. Discuss it at your liturgy committee and pastoral council meetings. The listing also will be made available online and through social media. Remember, Ash Wednesday is March 6. Space must be reserved by Dec. 30. Please provide the date(s), time, place and cost for the dinner and, if needed, a phone number for questions. The cost is $45 per listing. This is a great resource for those looking for meatless dinners during Lent.
