Effective as of Jan. 1, 2019, the mileage rate will increase from 54.5 cents per mile to 58 cents per mile for all ministry-related mileage. This is based on the new IRS allowable rate. St. Mark Catholic Center staff and visitors reminder
Due to the unfortunate increase of workplace violence and shootings in both private and public buildings, St. Mark Catholic Center in Erie continues to reinforce common-sense safety practices. As part of these practices, please be reminded that all employees, staff and visitors to St. Mark Center during normal business hours are required to wear SMCC name badges or visitor tags, which are given at the main entrance reception desk. Visitors return the badge to the reception desk when they leave, allowing us to know who is in the building at any given time in case of a fire or other emergency. Priests and deacons now have their own personalized badges that are kept at the reception desk, and may be picked up and returned there.
St. Mark Catholic Center is an office building, meeting center and private residence to priests and seminarians. Our highest concern is for the safety of those who live, work and utilize this building. Thank you for your cooperation with these safety procedures. Feel free to contact Father Chris Singer at cjsinger@ErieRCD.org or at 814-824-1135 with any questions or concerns.
