The Diocese of Erie Information Bulletin advertises and promotes activities and events sponsored by diocesan organizations such as parishes, schools, religious communities and groups.

Attention, all parishes
Because the Diocese of Erie now uses either email or postal mail for official correspondence with parishes, it is no longer necessary that parishes maintain dedicated fax lines or fax machines for diocesan communication.

Quo Vadis Days: Priesthood Discernment Camp
Priests of the diocese are asked to read the attached documents from the Vocations Office regarding the upcoming Quo Vadis Days at St. Philip Church and Retreat Center, Linesville. This four-day retreat/camp is designed for high school boys who are considering the seminary and priesthood, and who are striving to follow God’s call in their life.

‘Liturgy Jot’ is available now
The attached July issue of “Good Liturgy Matters-Jot” deals with community. This one-page, easy-to-read article is released monthly by the Office of Worship and is designed to help parish communities reflect on and improve their weekly liturgies. Consider including this “Jot” in your parish bulletin or discuss it at liturgy committee and pastoral council meetings. Please direct comments or questions to the Office of Worship at 814-824-1270.

Looking for a great opportunity to help out over the summer and be involved in one of the most well-attended events in the Diocese of Erie? Holy Trinity’s Zabawa festival needs help with serving food. Organizers are looking for 10 to 12 energetic volunteers (teenagers and up) for each shift. Sign up for as many hours as you’d like by contacting Sarah at schermack@eriefamilylaw.com. High school students in need of service hours are welcome.
