Is your organization having a festival late this summer or fall?
The June issue of Faith magazine will feature a listing of parish/school festivals. Faith’s August 2019 edition will publish a listing of festivals or events occurring later in the summer. Some space may be available for display ads as well. The listing also will be made available online and through social media. Celebrations commemorate 100th anniversary of St. Ann’s novena
The 100th anniversary of St. Ann’s novena at St. Ann Church in Erie will be celebrated July 18-26. Parishes, schools and individuals interested in sponsoring an ad in a special 100th anniversary keepsake booklet are encouraged to complete the attached ad form. Also attached are an order form for the commemorative booklet and a document that allows anyone to share memories of St. Ann’s novena in Erie and prayers answered through the intercession of St. Ann during or after saying a novena. Theology on Tap offered in Erie
RENEW International’s Theology on Tap, sponsored by St. George Parish, Erie, will be held May 6, May 20, June 3 and June 17 at The Brewerie at Union Station, 123 W. 14th St, Erie. Events are held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and include talks on faith-related topics. See the attachment for further details.

North East Choral Club to present evening concert
The North East Choral Club will perform its spring concert at Mount St. Benedict Monastery, 6101 East Lake Road, Erie, on May 13 at 7 p.m. There will be a special performance by the Erie Benedictine Sisters’ Handbell Choir and Sisters Schola.

Time remains to plan a summer vacation/pilgrimage

The Mid-Life/Lifelong Retreat for Personal and Spiritual Growth for Adults is a weekend experience allowing one to refocus in the midst of life's changes. Word of Life luncheon scheduled May 18
The Word of Life Catholic Charismatic Renewal Center of the Diocese of Erie is holding a luncheon, “By the Word of their Testimony,” on May 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Joseph/Bread of Life Community Center, 147 W. 24th St., Erie. Senior, caregiver fair/lunch offered at three parishes
Three Erie parishes are presenting a senior and caregiver fair and lunch in June. Experts will offer ways to get personal affairs in order. There also will be health and fitness assessments, presentations about finances, wills, funeral planning, medication management and full home care. The fairs will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon, followed by lunch, at the following locations, dates:

  • St. Jude the Apostle, 2801 W. 6th St., Erie, June 7
  • St. George, 5145 Peach St., Erie, June 11
  • Blessed Sacrament, 1626 W. 26th, Erie, June 12

A suggested donation to attend is $20, with a $15 discount for members of a faith community. Lunch is included in the donation. The events are supported by LECOM Institute for Successful Aging. Plan now for the diocesan ReVision Conference
The annual diocesan ReVision Conference featuring keynote speaker Everett Fritz, founder/executive director of St. Andrew Missionaries and author of The Art of Forming Young Disciples: Why Youth Ministries Aren’t Working and What to do About It, will be held June 8 at St. Mark Catholic Center in Erie. Doors will open for registration at 1 p.m. with the program beginning at 1:30 p.m. The day will conclude with a 4:30 p.m. vigil Mass for Pentecost with Bishop Lawrence Persico.
