Consider contributing to disaster relief efforts
From the tsunami in Indonesia to the hurricanes affecting the southern United States, natural disasters are currently affecting thousands of lives. Please discern whether God is inviting you to financially assist our sisters and brothers whose lives are being impacted by natural disasters around the globe and in our own backyard. Visit the Social Justice and Life website at https://www.ErieRCD.org/socialjusticelife/disasterrelief.html to learn more about how you can donate to disaster relief efforts. Let us also remember to pray for those affected by natural disasters. Attached is a prayer suggestion from Catholic Charities USA.

This list also is available at www.ErieRCD.org/familiesmatter/tmtw.html. Remember that no sign can evangelize, but you and your parish can discover new ways to keep people returning to worship.
