2022 Official Catholic Directory updates (Kenedy Directory)
Beginning with the 2018 edition, the publishers of the Kenedy Directory implemented an online system for updates. Parishes, schools and other Catholic institutions must update their entries online. The Official Catholic Directory sent an email Oct. 19 to every organization that has provided an email address. Highlights from that email and tips for using the update system are attached below.

Institutional representatives should log in to https://ocdedits.com/login to complete their updates for the 2022 Official Catholic Directory by Nov. 22, 2021. Please contact Maria Caulfield with any questions at 814-824-1130 or mcaulfield@eriercd.org. You may also contact the publishers directly at ocdedits@nrpdirect.com.

Note: The Kenedy Directory is not the diocesan directory. The diocesan directory is updated separately.

Parishes asked to promote letter regarding preparation for upcoming synod
The Chancery and the Office of Faith Formation of the Diocese of Erie have released a letter to parishioners regarding the work that has begun in dioceses across the world in preparation for the 2023 Synod of Bishops. The letter, which is attached, includes a brief synopsis of the synod and details how parishes will be brought into the process in early 2022. A banner with a link to the letter has been posted on all parish websites that are connected to the diocesan system. Parishes with independent sites are invited to use the letter supplied in the attachments or simply to provide a link to the letter posted at www.eriercd.org/news/News-releases.html. Graphics for parish bulletins, websites and social media are available at https://www.eriercd.org/synod.html. All are invited to share this information on their social media platforms.

Try using some as an inspiring way to begin a meeting or to jump start a dinnertime conversation. Each video also can be downloaded and shared on social media.
