Continuing Education and Spiritual Formation for Religious Education and Youth Ministry Leaders

In order to adapt to the busy schedules of our parish leaders, the Department of Religious Education has merged some CEO/SFO discussions into the monthly deanery-based gatherings which many leaders already attend.

This means less travel and fewer scheduling conflicts without sacrificing the two important goals of our CEO/SFO Days: (1) gathering in community with fellow leaders and (2) continuing in personal education and spiritual formation. We will provide resources—articles, videos, audio tracks, and the like—to facilitate meaningful discussion with nearby leaders.

In addition to the Spiritual Formation days that are offered each year, the Department of Religious Education hosts an annual retreat. This is an opportunity to build community with other diocesan leaders, to spend some time in reflection and to re-center yourself in God's care.
