It’s a term that may not be familiar, but it’s an experience of infertility that can be uniquely isolating. Couples struggling with secondary infertility have one or more children but also have difficulty expanding their families. We can support these couples by refraining from making assumptions about their family size, avoiding intrusive questions, and affirming their marriages and the gift of their parenthood.
