Catholic schools have traditionally been the most effective way to pass on our faith to future generations.

In an exceedingly complex world, we offer the simple realities of a Catholic education: values that bring lasting peace and happiness.

We center our education on the spiritual and secular dimensions of our lives. Our schools focus on service within and outside the school community and give our students a sense of belonging to a global community.

Serving the needs of Catholic education in 13 counties of northwestern Pennsylvania the diocese, its parishes and institutions operate 22 elementary, 3 middle and 7 secondary schools with a total enrollment of nearly 5,600 students.

Our schools are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Most schools within the Diocese of Erie are moving through a process of reaccreditation with the Middle States Association.
To stay current on the progress toward reaccreditation, please read the MSA Today monthly newsletters: August 2019, September 2019, October 2019, November 2019
December 2019 and January 2020.
