In today's gospel, the disciples were so downcast on their journey home that they didn't recognize Jesus’ walking with them. Similarly, in our homes, we can become so overwhelmed with responsibilities that we fail to see God with us. Today's gospel encourages us to pause and open our eyes to 'see Christ' in each other.
