August 11 – A Unique Way to Help Children Ages 3-6 Recognize God’s Voice
08/09/2026
Parents, grandparents, and parishioners of young children (ages 3-6) are warmly invited to a special “Come & See” evening to experience Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) on Tuesday, August 11 from 6:00–7:00 PM at St. Mark Catholic Center, 429 E. Grandview Blvd., Erie. This evening is designed to give adults a glimpse into the peaceful, prayerful environment of the Level I Atrium, where young children encounter Scripture, liturgy, and the love of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, in a deeply personal way.
Guests will experience a short Atrium presentation, explore some of the hands-on materials used by the children, and learn how CGS helps children listen for God’s voice and grow in relationship with Him. The evening will also include information about CGS opportunities in Erie County this fall and ways to support the ministry. All are welcome to come and see why Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is unlike any other formation experience for young children. More information and registration can be found at www.eriercd.org/familylifeoffice Registrations are not mandatory, but help us plan well.
