With Halloween approaching, sure let your kids dress up and have fun, but also let them in on the secret of how Halloween came to be. In our Christian heritage, it meant “All Hallows Eve” otherwise known as the eve of All Saints Day. Does your child know the saint he or she was named after? Tell the story of courage and witness of your child’s saint. Encourage your children to live up to their names.
