The Diocese of Erie Information Bulletin advertises and promotes activities and events sponsored by diocesan entities such as parishes, schools, religious communities and groups. The IB is unable to advertise or promote activities or events not sponsored by such entities. Submissions may run a maximum of two editions. The administrative offices of the diocese reserve the right to edit submissions.

Please find attached Bishop Persico’s letter introducing the 2025 Good Shepherd Collection, taken the weekend of May 10-11. Parishes are asked to publicize this collection in a significant way on the weekend of May 3-4.
Collection materials available for Good Shepherd
The annual Good Shepherd Collection for retired diocesan priests will be taken in parishes of the Diocese of Erie the weekend of May 10-11. Pastors are asked to make their staff aware of materials that are available to publicize this important collection. Frozen Jr. at Our Lady of Peace School
Our Lady of Peace Parish, 2401 W 38 St., Erie, is presenting Frozen Jr. in the Our Lady of Peace gymnasium. The dates are Saturday, May 3, at 3 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 4, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children and can be purchased at the door.
Praise and Worship Holy Hour
On Monday, May 15, at 7 p.m., the Greenville Deanery in conjunction with Notre Dame Parish, 2325 Highland Rd., Hermitage, is hosting a Praise and Worship Holy Hour with refreshments and social time after. See flyer for additional information.
Healing the Whole Person
St. Francis Xavier Parish, 8880 West Main St., McKean, is offering the 8-week video course of the John Paul II Healing Center, “Healing the Whole Person.” There are two options available:
- 4-Day Retreat: May 18-21 from 6-8:30 p.m. covering 2 videos per night with time for prayer and journaling
- 2-Day Intensive: June 28 and 29 from 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. covering 4 videos each day with time for prayer and journaling

St. Francis School PTO 24th Annual Golf Tournament
Join us on Friday, June 6, for the 24th annual St. Francis School PTO Golf Tournament at the Clearfield-Curwensville Country Club, 1125 Country Club Rd., Clearfield. Registration is at 9 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.

St. Ann Parish to host celebration of Divine Mercy
A special celebration of Divine Mercy will take place at St. Ann Parish, 921 East Avenue, Erie, on Sunday, April 27. Several priests will be available to hear confessions from 1:15-2:45 p.m. Divine Mercy Mass begins at 3 p.m. A Divine Mercy Homily will be given and those participating will have the opportunity to obtain a Papal Plenary Indulgence for the remission of temporal punishment due to past sins. Following mass, a blessing will be given with a first-class relic of St. Sr. Faustina Kowalska. All are welcome!
Rosary March sponsored by the World Apostolate of Fatima, Clearfield
The World Apostolate of Fatima Clearfield Division is sponsoring a Diocesan Rosary March on Sunday, May 7, at 3 p.m. at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds, Clearfield. Father Marc Solomon will lead the outdoor Rosary March Procession with the Blessed Sacrament. Father Mark Mastrian will lead the Rosary. Father Jerry Priscaro will proclaim the Gospel Reading. A Marian reflection will be given by Dr. Katherine Moran of the Diocese of Youngstown, OH. Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will follow. Food and beverages, along with a wide variety of Religious Goods will be available for purchase before and after the march. All are invited to attend. St. George Summer Bible Camp
Nine weeks of Faith, Service and Fun! St. George Parish Youth Ministry, 5145 Peach St., Erie, is hosting a Summer Bible Camp from June 16-August 14 (Monday–Thursday) at 9 a.m.–2:45 p.m. All children ages 3 to Grade 8 are welcome. Comfort through Grief Ministries
St. Joseph Church/Bread of Life Community Center, 147 W. 24 St., Erie, is hosting guest speaker Anne-Marie Welsh and her program entitled “Hope within Grief: Notes on a conversation with the mother of Blessed Carlo Acutis.” This presentation will take place on Monday, April 28, in the upstairs multipurpose room. Faithful to the Finish 5k
On Saturday, May 10, Our Lady of Peace Parish will sponsor the 11th annual Faithful to the Finish 5K. The run will be held at Presque Isle State Park Erie Runners Club Pavilion at Beach 1. Start time is 8 a.m. Entry is $30 with registration before April 28 with t-shirt or $40 after April 29 with no t-shirt. Proceeds benefit the OLP Parish Endowment. Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit available for parishes and schools
The International Eucharistic Miracles of the World exhibit, which was designed and created by Blessed Carlo Acutis, is available for parishes and schools in the diocese to borrow. The exhibit is composed of approximately 160 panels that include beautiful images and detailed descriptions of Eucharistic miracles that have occurred throughout the centuries, in many countries around the world. St. Philip Church, 401 S. Mercer St., Linesville, has a copy of this exhibit, thanks to a generous REEF grant, and will allow our parishes and schools to borrow the exhibit free of charge. The exhibit is stored in 3 boxes and 2 bins for easy transport.
