Lenten small groups to explore racial justice
The Diocese of Erie is offering two separate small group experiences this Lent to explore racial justice. These opportunities are sponsored by the offices of Social Justice and Life and Faith Formation Parish Support. Those who are looking for Christian community, a place to ask big questions, and a way to explore the Gospel call to work for racial justice are invited to learn more and consider applying at https://www.eriercd.org/socialjusticelife/racialjustice.html. Applications are due Jan. 18. Questions can be directed to the Social Justice and Life Office at SJL@ErieRCD.org.

Pastors: Save the date for upcoming Vanco webinar
Pastors in the Diocese of Erie are asked to save the date for a January webinar introducing Vanco, an online platform that has been supporting parishes and their communities with online giving tools for more than 20 years. The webinar is scheduled for Jan. 18 from 10 to 11 a.m. More than 25,000 churches rely on Vanco to increase generosity, drive member engagement and share their accomplishments. During this webinar, Vanco will highlight how it partners with Ministry Platform to simplify contribution allocation. Vanco will explain how both members and parishes benefit from online giving and will introduce the online giving tools churches use to boost giving and share their story. Visit https://www.eriercd.org/mpog.html to register for this webinar. Parishes that already have an online giving solution should still plan on attending this informative webinar. Ministry Platform integration with Vanco will result in time savings for your office staff. Vanco’s zero monthly fee and competitive transaction rates can add up to significant cost savings for your parish. Email questions to Kathy Papalia at kpapalia@ErieRCD.org or 814-824-1184.
