The Diocese of Erie Information Bulletin advertises and promotes activities and events sponsored by diocesan entities such as parishes, schools, religious communities and groups. The IB is unable to advertise or promote activities or events not sponsored by such entities. Submissions may run a maximum of two editions. The administrative offices of the diocese reserve the right to edit submissions.

Help Spread the Faith collection
Please find attached the letter from Bishop Persico concerning the Help Spread the Faith collection to be taken up the weekend of January 27-28. Pastors are asked to publicize this collection in a significant way the weekend of January 20-21.

2024 Catholic Services Appeal
The Catholic Services Appeal is the annual fundraising campaign of the Diocese of Erie and is essential to supporting the day-to-day work of the Catholic Church in northwest Pennsylvania. The Catholic Foundation of Northwest Pennsylvania facilitates the CSA campaign for the Diocese of Erie. Materials for the 2024 CSA will begin shipping soon to parishes. When materials arrive, check to be sure you received what was ordered. Please note, watch for additional emails with important information about the launch of the 2024 CSA. 2024 CSA parish information webinar  
Pastors and parish staff are invited to attend a webinar to kick off the 2024 Catholic Services Appeal on  Jan. 10 at 1 p.m. This one-hour webinar hosted by the Diocese of Erie and the Catholic Foundation and facilitated by Our Sunday Visitor will begin with prayer led by Bishop Persico. During the webinar, a variety of topics related to the 2024 CSA will be reviewed including the timeline, CSA goal, materials, in-pew solicitation, payment reminders and thank you cards. The 2024 CSA video will also be presented during the webinar. Following the webinar, all registrants will receive access to the webinar recording and slides. Interested in learning more about becoming a permanent deacon?

Reverse raffle
