The deadline for submissions is Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.

The Diocese of Erie Information Bulletin advertises and promotes activities and events sponsored by diocesan entities such as parishes, schools, religious communities and groups. The IB is unable to advertise or promote activities or events not sponsored by such entities. Submissions may run a maximum of two editions. The administrative offices of the diocese reserve the right to edit submissions.

Pastors, parish secretaries: please update livestream Mass information
In the interest of keeping our website accurate, the Communications Office of the Diocese of Erie is asking all parishes to double-check the livestream Mass listings found through a tab on the diocesan homepage. If your times or links have changed, if you are no longer livestreaming or if you are not listed and would like to be, please send details to Rich Papalia, webmaster, at RPapalia@ErieRCD.org. International Catholic Stewardship Council newsletter
The Catholic Foundation is happy to share the attached June edition of the International Catholic Stewardship Council newsletter (English and Spanish versions are available). Pastors and parish staff are encouraged to read and share this publication with their parishioners, using all or parts of it for their parish bulletin, with credit to the author/source.

June edition of Jubilee Journey: Pilgrims of Hope available now
The June edition of the Jubilee Journey: Pilgrims of Hope newsletter is now available. To recognize the Jubilee Year 2025, this newsletter – suitable for printing in parish bulletins – provides both informative and interactive elements for children and adults. Each edition celebrates the monthly jubilee events recognized by the Vatican and brings readers along for a spiritual pilgrimage. The June edition is attached.

Diocesan Confirmation Retreat
It is time to begin thinking about the Confirmation Retreat for your 9th grade students! It will be held at Gannon University, 109 University Square, Erie, on November 8. Mark your calendars and get your kids excited! The group from Damascus ministries will lead the day with great music, fun activities and some deep spiritual reflections and exercises. It is free for your youth and the volunteers accompanying them. Their website proclaims: Jesus isn't boring. His Church isn't, either. Damascus offers retreats and resources that help people encounter Jesus and live the adventure of the Catholic faith. Isn’t this what we want for our youth!? Watch for more details in the coming months.

Join us for praise and worship with Brianna Erdman, powerful conversion witness by Jessica Laus and Scripture reflection/prayer with Susan Yurkewicz on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 6-8:30 p.m. at St. George Parish, 5145 Peach St., Erie. Vacation Bible School at St. Mark the Evangelist Parish
St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, 695 Smithson Ave., Lawrence Park, is hosting a Vacation Bible School presented by St. Luke’s Parish and St. James Parish, June 23-27, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.  This is a fun-filled week where kids will be searching for the Lord’s greatness in all their lives!  It is free and open to all youth in grades Pre K-5. Donations are happily accepted. Youths entering grades 6-12 are invited to join as volunteers, age group leaders or activity leaders. To register, please see the attached flyer and scan the QR code. Annual St. Nicholas Parish Chicken and Noodle Dinner
Join us on Sunday, June 29th, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Parish, 3028 Shannondale Road, Mayport. Adult Dinners are $12, children under 12 are $5 and preschoolers eat free. Enjoy a delicious meal of fried chicken and homemade noodles! There will also be a quilt raffle and country store.

Pre-Cana Marriage Preparation
The Office of Faith Formation at St. Mark Catholic Center, 429 E. Grandview Blvd., Erie, will be hosting a Pre-Cana session on Saturday, July 12, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pre-Cana is a marriage preparation tool that helps to prepare couples for a lifelong sacramental marriage through a series of presentations and activities facilitated by a team of married couples and a priest. Topics include sacramental commitment, finances, spirituality, sexuality, family planning and common obstacles.

During these sessions, participants will gain insights and listen to real-life stories from couples in various stages of marriage, with plenty of time for personal reflection and private dialogue to discuss thoughts with their fiancé.
