The deadline for submissions is Thursday, June 8, at 4:30 p.m.

The Diocese of Erie Information Bulletin advertises and promotes activities and events sponsored by diocesan entities such as parishes, schools, religious communities and groups. The IB is unable to advertise or promote activities or events not sponsored by such entities. Submissions may run a maximum of two editions. The administrative offices of the diocese reserve the right to edit submissions.

Annual Parish Report for Child Protection Compliance
Parishes are reminded that the Annual Parish Report for Child Protection Compliance is due by June 15. All parishes are required to complete the report. The information on the report is included in the Annual USCCB Charter Audit that the diocese undergoes each year. The report and instructions are attached. If you have any questions or need assistance in completing the report, contact Cindy Zemcik at 814.824.1195 or czemcik@eriercd.org.

Eucharistic processions
The Office for Divine Worship is pleased to announce that regional Eucharistic processions hav been organized. Everyone is invited to participate in one of the processions on June 11 (Corpus Christi). See attachment for procession list.

International Catholic Stewardship Council newsletter
The Catholic Foundation is happy to share the attached June edition of the International Catholic Stewardship Council newsletter (English and Spanish versions are available). Pastors and parish staff are encouraged to read and share this publication with their parishioners, using all or parts of it for their parish bulletin, with credit to the author/source.

Free parish websites through the diocese
The Diocese of Erie will be offering new free parish websites until July 31. If your parish is considering a new website, contact Kathy Papalia soon. Visit https://www.eriercd.org/parishplace.html for information about the free sites. Websites offered through the diocese are easy to edit and sites are typically up and running in a matter of weeks. Knights of Columbus 10K, 5K race and 5K walk
Knights of Columbus JMJ Council 4071 is sponsoring its annual Liberty 10K and 5K run, and 5K walk on July 4. The event will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 837 Bartlett Road, Harborcreek. This is a great event for all members of the family to celebrate the holiday. 

Quo Vadis Days
Quo Vadis Days is a four-day camp for Catholic young men in grades 9-12 who are considering the priesthood or seminary formation or who are wondering if God is calling them to a religious vocation. Quo Vadis Days will be held July 30 – Aug. 2 at St. Mark Seminary, 429 E. Save the date for the National Eucharistic Congress
The Diocesan Eucharistic Adoration Committee is coordinating a pilgrimage to the Eucharistic Congress from July 17-21, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The diocesan pilgrimage will include round-trip transportation, a four-night hotel stay, and admission for all Eucharistic Congress events, speakers and the closing Mass. If you’ve already purchased a Eucharistic Congress pass, we will have travel-only options available. More information coming soon.
