Diocesan Eucharistic Weekend planned for Oct. 15-16
The weekend of Oct. 15 will be observed as a Diocesan Eucharistic Weekend as part of the ongoing Eucharistic Revival. Bishop Lawrence Persico has directed that instead of the usual Ordinary Time Sunday Mass, all parishes of the diocese will offer a votive Mass of the Eucharist. Bishop Persico also has directed parishes to continue the celebration after Mass in various ways. Some parishes are having times of adoration concluding with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, while others expect to hold a Eucharistic procession. Contact your local parish for details.
