Giving back during Advent

Advent is a season of joyful preparation, filled with hope, love, joy and peace as we await the birth of Christ. One meaningful way to prepare our hearts is by giving back to those in need. Acts of charity not only bless our neighbors but also draw us closer to God, reminding us that the true gift of Christmas is love made visible.

Ways to share generosity

During Advent, consider ways you and your family can serve:

     • Volunteer at a local food kitchen or shelter

     • Donate warm clothing, blankets or hygiene items to organizations serving the poor

     • Participate in an angel tree or gift drive, bringing joy to children and families who might otherwise go withoutbuild your own Advent calendar.

     • Offer financial support to ministries that provide critical services across our communities
