Advent Social Media Campaign: "Sharing My Faith This Advent"

This Advent, let’s focus on sharing the reason for the season. As we prepare our hearts for Christ’s coming, Catholics are invited to use social media to spread hope, peace, joy and love with friends and followers. Each post is a simple way to witness your faith and encourage others to draw closer to Christ during these holy weeks.

Below, you’ll find a weekly social media post to help you share Advent with others. Each week includes a graphic—simply right-click and save it. There is also a suggested caption to accompany the graphic—feel free to personalize it and use the "engagement prompt" to spark faith-filled conversations as we journey toward Christmas.

Saturday, November 29, 2025 — What is the Advent Wreath?

Hey friends, tomorrow Advent begins. I’m committed to sharing this blessed season with you all each week! The Advent wreath is one of my favorite traditions — the circle of greens reminds us of God’s endless love, and each candle marks the weeks until Christmas. Three purple candles stand for hope, peace, and love. The rose candle, lit on the third Sunday, celebrates joy. Every week the light grows brighter as we get closer to celebrating the birth of Jesus. Do you have an Advent wreath at home?

Third Sunday of Advent - JOY (Dec. 14, 2025)

Happy Gaudete Sunday! Today we light the rose candle, a symbol of JOY. This is why we celebrate — Christ is near, and His coming fills us with gladness. What Advent or Christmas tradition always brings you joy?

Fourth Sunday of Advent - LOVE (Dec. 21, 2025)

The final purple candle of Advent is lit today for LOVE. This is why we celebrate — God’s love took on flesh in Jesus, Emmanuel, “God with us.” How do you share love with others as Christmas gets close?
