Eucharistic Processions for Corpus Christi

Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

On the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, also known as Corpus Christi, the faithful throughout the Diocese of Erie are invited to take part in Eucharistic processions in parishes and communities across our 13 counties.

The Eucharistic procession is a public witness of faith in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. As the Blessed Sacrament is carried through neighborhoods, streets and parish grounds, the faithful are invited to walk together in prayer, adoration and thanksgiving — bringing Christ into the heart of the community and proclaiming the hope and peace found in Him.

Corpus Christi processions are a longstanding tradition of the Church and offer an opportunity to deepen devotion to the Eucharist while uniting parish communities in prayer and worship.

All are welcome to participate in a Eucharistic procession near them. View the times and locations below.
