Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,
The installation of a new bishop marks a profound moment of renewal for a diocese. As our diocesan family gathers to welcome new pastoral leadership, we do so with gratitude for our shared faith and hope for the future of the Diocese of Erie across our 13 counties in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
We invite you to partner with us in ensuring that this sacred occasion is celebrated with reverence, warm hospitality and broad participation – honoring our rich traditions and the faithful who make up our local Church.As I reflect on my time shepherding the Diocese of Erie, I am constantly reminded of the generosity and faithfulness of our community.
Together, we have faced challenges with courage, celebrated blessings with gratitude and continued to proclaim the Gospel with conviction.
