“Welcome is an overnight weekend experience for your parishioners given by men or women who have previously attended Welcome at your parish. Through fellowship, faith sharing, hospitality, music, individual and group activities, Mass, and more, participants have the opportunity to step back from the everyday to reflect on their lives and their spiritual journeys and build meaningful relationships with other men or women in the parish. Men and women attend separate weekends.”

Past Successes:
- Jacksonville, FL
- St. George Parish, Erie, saw an increasing community grow from the Welcome retreats. Potluck dinners, shared service (such as baking for homeless shelters), a commitment to each other in prayer through the development of a prayer chain, and the physical and spiritual support of community members has created a sense of shared community centered around Christ and parish life.
Investment:
- A one-time registration fee under $500 (annual renewal fee of $100), provides the parish with the retreat plan, training, advertising, and on-call mentoring for the program.
