Specifications and Format
• Open to students in grades K-12, Catholic, public, private and homeschooled
Submission genres eligible:
Animation
Live Action
Public Service Announcement
Documentary
Music video
Webisode
• No more than three (3) minutes in length
• Original content
• All videos submitted must be suitable for viewing by those of all ages. Videos deemed in appropriate will not be considered.
• Videos may not feature copyrighted material - this includes music and video content, including media that characters watch within the video. Search for royalty-free music and plan to film additional footage if characters are watching a movie or show that appears on screen.
• Judged on content, creativity and appropriateness to the theme.
• Student’s name, grade, parent/guardian email address and school/parish should be included in the email with the video submission
• Upload your video to a file-sharing or social media platform of your choice (Google Drive, Dropbox, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and send the shareable link of the video to artcontest@eriercd.org. Due to file size limitations, do not attach the original video file to the email.
Deadline for submission is March 17, 2023
