Due to the Easter holiday, the next Information Bulletin is Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The submission deadline is Wednesday, April 1, at 12:00 p.m.

The Diocese of Erie Information Bulletin advertises and promotes activities and events sponsored by diocesan entities such as parishes, schools, religious communities and groups. The IB is unable to advertise or promote activities or events not sponsored by such entities. Submissions may run a maximum of two editions. The administrative offices of the diocese reserve the right to edit submissions.

International Catholic Stewardship Council newsletter 
The Catholic Foundation is happy to share the attached April edition of the International Catholic Stewardship Council newsletter (English and Spanish versions are available). Pastors and parish staff are encouraged to read and share this publication with their parishioners, using all or parts of it for their parish bulletin, with credit to the author/source.

Removal of the Password Protected Section of the IBTo increase efficiency, the password protected section of the Information Bulletin is being removed.  The sensitive information that was previously shared here will be sent directly to the parties involved.

IB Holiday Schedule
Please note the following schedule adjustments in observance of the Easter holiday:

  • IB submissions are due by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1
  • The IB will be released on Tuesday, April 7
  • Saint Mark Catholic Center will be closed Thursday, April 2 through Monday, April 6.

Special Collection for Local Needs
Finance Office reminder: Parishes that have not yet remitted their Local Needs Special Collection are asked to submit their collection to the Financial Services Office as soon as possible.

Office for Divine Worship monthly newsletter
The Office for Divine Worship presents a monthly newsletter to aid in preparing celebrations that will occur in that particular month. The April newsletter is attached.

Vacation Bible School Listing
The Diocese of Erie Communications and Advancement Office has created a central Vacation Bible School landing page to help families find summer programs across the diocese. This resource will be promoted in Faith magazine, E-News and across diocesan communications.

Parishes are encouraged to submit their VBS information to be included, including parish name, location, theme, dates/times and contact information. Flyers or graphics may also be included. Catholic Charities Bingo
Join Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Erie for a Bingo fundraiser on Friday, April 10, at the JPT Event Center, 2319 W. 38th St., Erie. A variety of prizes will be available, including designer purses, top-of-the-line electronics and cash. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and Bingo begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. Mother/Daughter Tea
Mark your calendars for the annual Mother-Daughter Tea, hosted by the Virtue & Integrity Education Office. The first tea is set for April 18 at Immaculate Conception Parish, 715 Main St., Clarion, while the second is May 2 at Saint Mark Catholic Center, 429 E. Grandview Blvd., Erie. This special event is designed for girls ages 10 and above and their mothers. Topics to be discussed include the emotional and physical changes of puberty and strengthening the parent-child bond through adolescence. Rambler Camps
Cathedral Preparatory School, 225 W. 9th St., Erie, is hosting Summer Enrichment programs for students entering grades 5–8, with new offerings this year for students in grades 3 and 4. Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of interests during morning and afternoon sessions with teachers from both Cathedral Prep and Mother Teresa Academy and can look forward to a summer full of learning, making new friends and having fun. Programs will be held July 13–17 and July 20–24. See attached flyer for more information and to register.


Director of Parish Life at St. Joseph/Bread of Life Parish
St. Joseph/Bread of Life Parish, 147 W. 24th St., Erie, is seeking a disciple of Christ with strong leadership and communication skills to serve as a member of the Parish Leadership Team. This role will oversee volunteer leaders across all ministries, support project management efforts, assist in integrating three churches into one parish, and help spread the faith through evangelization. Erie Catholic School System is seeking a Director of Advancement to oversee all areas of advancement, including the planning, coordination, implementation and management of fundraising activities. This role advises the President and Administrative Team on advancement goals, programs, policies and procedures related to fundraising.
