Migrant worker visas and refugee resettlement policies have come to the forefront of the nation’s immigration dialogue.

Catholics are sensitive to the reasons why families flee their home country, such as war, unjust governments and authoritarian regimes that suppress religious freedom, oftentimes with violence.
